Program of medical and psychological support of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period in a crisis situation of hostilities

The socio-political state of any society determines the culture and quality of childbirth, determines the development and psychophysical health of the nation for generations to come.
Satisfaction of psychophysiological needs, creation of optimal conditions for favorable development of the fetus, security and protection is a natural need of every woman during pregnancy, childbirth and after childbirth.
To date, the basic needs of security and protection have been violated in one part of our country.
Feelings of danger, despair, and sometimes hopelessness lead to general maladaptation and this can contribute to the violation of the psychophysiology of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. The consequences of traumatic experiences during pregnancy and childbirth have long-term effects on the entire family system as a whole, and further on the future of the nation and the country.
The ability to provide medical and psychological support to pregnant women and women in labor, psychological and professional support of medical staff, correction of psychosomatic condition of those who need it, is a priority for obstetricians and gynecologists and perinatal psychologists in these difficult times for our country.

OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this project is to develop and implement a program of psychological assistance for pregnant / recently pregnant women, as well as medical staff of maternity hospitals in the crisis period of hostilities in Ukraine, which began on 24.02.2022, which provides for the following tasks:
- To study the psychosomatic state of pregnant / recently pregnant women in crisis crisis
- To study the psychosomatic state of the medical staff of maternity hospitals that provide medical care in crisis conditions of hostilities
- For medical staff of maternity hospitals in Odessa and Odessa region, accompanying women during pregnancy and childbirth, to conduct training seminars (online format, program - Annex 1), aimed at familiarizing with the basic psychophysiological features / needs of pregnant women and women in labor military action.
- Provide psychological assistance, humanitarian targeted assistance (in coordination with volunteers), medical and psychological support of pregnant women, mothers and mothers in the framework of the "Renaissance" Program (upon request) in compliance with the Law of Ukraine on Personal Data Protection (as amended) in accordance with Laws No. 4452-VI of February 23, 2012, VVR, 2012, No. 50, Article 564 (No. 5491-VI of November 20, 2012).
- Develop and implement the Program of medical and psychological support of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period in the crisis situation of hostilities "Renaissance" in the practical activities of medical staff of maternity hospitals in Odessa and the region.
